Danny is thinking about squeezing in a nap before he has to head off to work. When he announced this plan, I had to ask him when he planned to get up and if the lady who rides to work with him on most days will be coming by today. He said that she is off today, it's only Tuesday. I'd thought it was Wednesday today since I have to go to work tonight, a result of cutting a deal to have Sunday night off. Boy, did I get messed up. Weird hours, weird weekends add up to confusion.

Now that I know it is only Tuesday, I have to get the trash and recyclables out. Dang. I'd best do it soon too as it is starting to rain. Dang!

From reading a weather advisory over there on Joe's site, it sounds like we're in for some wet weather this week. All week long. There's supposed to be some wind coming, but right now we're having one of those rare windless moments. Seems it is always windy here except when it is supposed to be windy. Hmmph.

I also have to do a bit of shopping today, or tonight. Danny's birthday is tomorrow and I must get him something. Accessories for his brand new Shop Vac might fit the ticket, and my budget. A cake is a maybe item since he'd do nothing but complain about all the calories while he gobbles it down. Who needs complaining on a birthday? He might complain if he didn't get a cake too. Can't win. I can buy one at work on my way home in the morning. Just a small one.

I'm still wondering why my NetObjects Fusion order has been sitting over the hill in Sacatomatoes since the 23rd. It's only a two hour drive in good weather and a four hour drive in bad weather. Fedex has lost their express. I want it and I want it now! Guess I'm being cranky today.
